When shopping for a driving school it is so important to know who it is that is guiding and mentoring you through this learning experience. Therefore, we would like to introduce you to our team here at our family run business aim2drive.
We have a small successful team that comprises of (from left to right): Jo Bailiff, the business/office manager and three experienced, friendly instructors: Darren Markley, Richard Bailiff and Kevin Robson. It is our upmost priority to produce safe and confident drivers within the community, focusing on our key strengths we have grew the business accordingly.
Firstly we want EXACTLY what you want: A FIRST TIME PASS. We step outside the box and go above and beyond to give you all the resources and opportunities to aim for exactly this. It is imperative we deliver a high standard of learning. We take that extra step by writing our own lesson plans, visual, progress sheets and starter packs, tailoring each lesson to your driving ability. We set the bar high by opting for Department of Transport Approved Instructor Licence's (not the cert IV option, which is what most competitors opt for), this particular licence means our instructors get practical tested every three years. Up to date instructor knowledge is fundamental. Additionally, all instructors are government accredited to delivery the keys2drive program, offering one x free lesson per student.
Trust and confidence is super important when learning to drive, staying authentic and providing personal touch gains just this. Avoiding online booking systems (unlike other schools) we recognise the importance of having Jo in the office on a daily basis to speak to families one on one. Being hands on is a definite aim2drive strength: from booking tests, diary management, writing learning resources, applying weekly reminders and maximising all communication channels is something we pride ourselves on.
We are constantly thinking of ways in which we can improve, investing money back into the business is necessary in this forever changing industry. We ensure our vehicles are always up to date with the latest state of the art equipment such as: dash cams, dual controls, speedometers and ipads/iphones to access diaries. All of our vehicles are the same model with matching signage.
As you may have grasped our small (award winning) team are extremely hardworking and share the same focus and care for their pupils. We are absolutely results driven and aim for those first time passes, however addressing nerves and anxiety, our ultimate aim is to produce safe and confident drivers, reducing the risk of accidents on the roads. Each instructor comes with many years of experience, the correct licences and a working with children check.
